Delete your Hazri account
Hazri has no password and no sign-in. An account exists only if you made a profile in the app. This page explains how to delete it and what goes with it.
Without a profile
Everything is on your phone. Uninstall Hazri, and your diary, goals, streaks and badges are gone. The only thing the server ever had is an anonymous install number with nothing attached to it.
With a profile: ask for deletion
In the app, Menu → Privacy & my data → Delete my account and data brings you here.
- Write to support@hazri.me with the subject Delete my Hazri account.
- Send it from the email address on your profile, so we know the profile is yours. If you no longer use that address, give it in the message along with your name and city as they are on the profile.
- We delete it within 30 days and write back to say it is done.
What is deleted
- Your profile: name, email, city and phone number
- Your daily attendance
- Your weekly backups of goals, recitations, simran sittings and badges
- Your Sangat group memberships, your name in those groups, and your phone's notification token
- Your quiz points, quiz sessions and your rows on the leaderboards
What is not deleted
- What is on your phone. Deleting the account does not touch your phone. Your diary stays there until you uninstall Hazri.
- Counts already added to a group's total or the globe. These are numbers with no name attached; your paath stays part of the number, but nothing links it to you.
After deletion, a restore on a new phone can no longer bring your data back.
